Good news

The baby chick have flown the coup. Alum handal terbang, telanggar sangkarnya sja. Parent kept constant contact pasal atu ganya anaknya kan. So msani msih mamanya bgi mkn, alum pndai mkn sndiri. Chick atu taunya practice trabng sja.

All ready for take off!

He is all feathered up now as you can see. If you look closely at the base of the tail, its iridescent light blue. The mommy is there, and i need to take a closer look at the chick.


Nah sampat ku ngmbil. The mother looking out mrh ia ehehe. Lengkap dah bna2 feathersnya so probably within this few days its gonna fly. If you hold an adult lovebird like this, ur in for a nasty bite. Coz the beak, eventhough ia damit can reli du a lot of damage.


Mukanya warna kalas (hehe ckp org lama), but as it grows older ia akan molt and change to bright red within 6 months time. Pas atu bru cia dkira adult.

ALpha pair Laid some eGGs!

Have some good news. The aLpha pair in the flock have laid some eggs. As u can see, the eggs are no bigger then a 20 cents coin. Hope all of the eggs are fertile. One week after kana aram oleh mamanya kan ku candling bek, to see if the eggs are viable or not. Nesting materials used here are hampas padi and some feathers. The FLock

Some of the flocks have gathered after they had their fill. Resting on the branch, which i may add was once filled with leaves. Lovebirds really love to gnaw on branches. It files down their beak which would otherwise grow non stop. The one in the middle is still a young bird. Her face is still bright pink, while the rest of them are bright red.

Almost feathered up. Crop is full, was recently fed by the chick's momma.

Ketara cia damit baby lovebird ah, cute ah. Tempted to hand-fed it, but nada masa kan jaga. Bz bna these few weeks. Biar cia mamanya mnjaga.
