Parrots of Brunei

Some of the local pets of Brunei. Hope this clarifies their names and species.
List from the biggest to the smallest.

1)First is the Long Tailed parakeet ataupun nama Bruneinya Kiking. Kadang2 kana panggil joa Bayan. It depends.




2) The Blue-rumped parrot or locally known as BB, sometimes known as Bayan too. Iatah ku confuse tu nah. Mature male has a blue head, while mature female has a brown colour head. Juveniles has green coloured head.



3) Hanging parrot or locally called Teripas.

My new Tame Budgies

Tried my handfeedin skills on budgies. They are so diff than lovebirds, budgies tend to bite a lot. Budgies are well known for their talking ability. Hope mine would talk,but if they dont, then its fine too.
They are like mini helicopters, they like to hover in front of the mirror. Wont stay still when i took their pics.

Lovies

Here are the pictures of the new lovebirds before and after they could fly. Both have been weaned successfully. They love to fly around the room and take baths. Next time i'll snap some pictures of that. Im using Kaytee exact handrearing formula.
